D-2 Inc. has been awarded under contract N6833524D0001 a $20,167,277 firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for the production and delivery of up to a maximum quantity of 841 portable particle counters as well as non-recurring engineering, logistics and test support. This contract was competitively bid and won via an electronic bid request for proposal; three offers were received in total. Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting authority. This will provide the United States Navy a Particle counter for hydraulic fluid that is portable and enhances their military capability wherever they fly.
